“Hey Jase. Where are you guys? Are you okay?” Tommy asked, instinctively worried. Another habit he just couldn’t seem to shake.

“Relax, bro. We’re great. We’re in Reefside. Downtown at our hotel. Made it in just a few minutes ago.” Jason said, the reception on his cell phone was causing him to cut his sentences short.

Tommy started to roll his sleeves up.“I wasn’t expecting you until a little later. I was just about to run some errands. Where’s Kimberly?” he asked, trying to sound as casual as possible.

“She’s checking in. Don’t worry about us, go run your errands. We won’t be over to your place for a couple of hours. Kimberly wants to check out the shops and tour the town for a bit.” Jason shouted over the static.“It was good. I’m doing better on beam with my new routine, but it’s definitely exhausting.”

“I know the feeling. I wish I could do something else besides my floor routine though. Hopefully I can convince coach to let me switch to vault this afternoon. I just haven’t been able to nail my front flip on vault the way I should.”

“I’m sure coach will let you. Oh hey, Lacie’s coming over. Let’s get a bite to eat. I’m starving.”

Lacie joined the two girls on the bench. “What’s for lunch today? Back to the apartment or out for lunch?”

Sarah spoke up. “Let’s go to that new deli down the street. I’ve heard they have great wraps that are healthy and sooooo good.”

Kimberly giggled. “I’m good with going there. What about you, Lacie?”Myk was standing atop a nearby sand dune, having managed to land perfectly.

"Come on. We have to stop Ornyk." he hopped down and began making his way across the sands.

"Yeah, yeah, when we're good and ready," Jareth said, brushing off his sleeves. "How do you know he went that way, anyway?"

         The Bronze Ranger pointed down to a set of pawlike tracks in the sand, luckily undisturbed by any stray winds.

         "Ah," Deacon said.

         Since all that needed to be said had been, the three headed off across the sands.....

         "Zedd sent us an ugly one this time," Fox said, her voice transmitted to the helmets of her fellow Rangers so it could be heard above the roars.

         "They're ALL ugly," Angel replied. he touched a hand to the side of his helmet, opening the comlink to the Oasis' Zord Bay. "Wolf Dinozord, online."

         Almost instantly, a gleaming, two story mechanical wolf appeared atop the next warehouse over.
