She straightened the hem of dress, and started to work on her shoes. Tugging a few wisps of hair from behind her ears, she continued looking at her reflection. She really wanted this evening to go well. She had a lot of explaining to do, and while her wildest dreams may not be fulfilled tonight, or ever, she knew she owed Tommy some answers. And she hoped they could at least bridge the gap that had been created from the letter she had sent him some 10 years ago.
“Knock, Knock.” A voice came through the adjoining door. Kimberly broke out of her reflective gaze and headed to unlock the door.
“We gotta get a move on, sis. It’s already three. Tommy lives out in the middle of nowhere so let’s . . . ” Jason trailed off. He had been so busy ordering her around that he hadn’t noticed her at first. But now he was stunned silent.Zedd was walking down the hallway when he heard his wife’s incessant cackling. She seemed to be doing it a lot lately. He came upon her staring into her Repulsa Scope. “What are you doing?” he asked.
She jumped, then turned. “Ahh Zedd. My plan is working perfectly! Have you seen my brother lately? He was the guinea pig for the plan.”
“He was beat up no worse than usual,” muttered Zedd.
“Face it, Zedd. My plan is off to a good start and you’re jealous.”
“I’m not jealous. I told you I didn’t want to take part in your plan, and I meant it. I still don’t want to be a part of it!”The wolflike creature withdrew his dagger and let Myk fall to the sand. Ornyk knew he wasn't dead, far from it; if Power Rangers were that easy to kill, there'd be no point. He could already see the hole in his armor healing. He'd be up on his feet again in a few minutes.
"Lyonscythe!"
"Silver Swords!"
The remaining two Rangers pulled their weapons from thin air, one wielding a wicked curved scythe with a sword hilt on the end, the other holding a diamond-edged short sword in either hand.
"Hmm....two...and a half...Rangers, versus me. Hardly fair odds. Of course, the odds don't much matter to you two, do they? You think like a villian, if you see an opening, you take advantage of it. I respect that."
