Tommy’s house was deceiving. The outside had been so penetrating with the mysterious ivy and random foliage growing around it. But the inside was rather humble. Cozy, but humble. It wasn’t as though Tommy hadn’t done well for himself, he was a homeowner, after all. But on a teacher’s salary and the past few years of his life being threatened by alien domination, Tommy had wanted to keep his only refuge simple.
You were in the living room immediately upon entering the front door. There was a large, black leather couch in the center of the room, with a black coffee table beside it. A modest sized television set, facing the couch was really the only other thing in the room. There were two rounded archways on the north and west walls of the living room, each leading to various parts of the house. From Kimberly’s position she could tell that the north opening led to the kitchen, while the west one led to another room and the upstairs.Kimberly turned her head to the window, only to find that it was closed. As she glanced around the room, she saw that the other bed was empty, leaving her with no roommate. A fresh wave of tears hit her as she looked down her body. This wasn’t how things were supposed to be. It just wasn’t. Fate had dealt her a cruel hand.
Rita clapped with glee. She’d been watching Kimberly over the past few days. “Finster! This is better than we could have ever planned! Not only is she unable to do gymnastics, but she’s also heading for a depression! And you know humans do the stupidest things while depressed!”
“Well, yes that is true my queen, but what does her depression mean for us?” asked Finster.
“It means that we can manipulate her thoughts you dolt.”The Crocodile Dinozord's rear legs extended out behind it, them bent in such a way that the body of the Zord was upright, it's head pointing towards the sky. Its forelegs swiveled back, revealing a pair of cyllindrical connection ports. The Hammerhead zord swam down into position and locked onto one of these ports, so that its tooth-filled mouth formed a hand, and the Wolf, after carefully folding away its legs, did the same. Finally, the crocodile's head folded down, forming a chestplate, and a humanoid head emerged from the mechanism, glaring balefully at the monster, which now seemed positively tiny.
Inside the control Chamber, the three Rangers sat at their stations.
