“Well, thanks Kim. I’ll open it later, okay? Let’s take that tour. Jase, you wanna tag along?” Tommy called to his friend who had been in the kitchen, discreetly watching Tommy and Kimberly from a distance.
“I’m not really a tag along kind of guy, bro. Besides, I’ve already seen it. You kids have fun. I’m going to bust open some of that wine!” Jason said wryly. He knew what he was doing. The more time the two of them had alone, the better.
Tommy rolled his eyes, knowing all too well what Jason was thinking. Kimberly, on the other hand, just stood there, blankly. Would they talk about them during her tour? When was the best time? Should they wait? Would they wait? Why was she here again? She was beginning to get a headache.
“Fine. Just don’t touch any of that food, and we’ll be back shortly. Then we can eat.” Tommy suggested, offering his arm to Kimberly.Kimberly hugged a pillow against her chest, as tears flowed down her face. Her mind was cloudy and she couldn’t think straight. She just wanted to go back in time and change everything. She would tell herself not to stay late, no matter what. She would do… something. Kimberly cried until she exhausted her body, crying herself to sleep.
“Finster! Activate the machine now! She’s out like a light!”
“Activating Dream Intrusion,” called Finster as he pushed a button.
Kimberly’s Dream
Kimberly glanced down at herself. She was wearing her ninjetti outfit. “What is this? Where am I?”
“Kimberly!” Kimberly turned to see where the voice was coming from and saw none other than Tommy in his white ninjetti outfit. “Come on! Rita’s sent down more Tenga warriors!”
“Tommy…. I can’t….” called Kimberly. Her lower body fizzled and changed. Soon, a wheelchair appeared below her legs, her body sitting in it. “Tommy, I can’t help you… look at me….” "Turbo Navigator?" Deacon asked. "Good idea."
"What's a Turbo Navigator?" Jareth asked.
"If you didn't go out of your way to avoid using the Turbo powers so often--" Myk began.
"I don't like cars."
"--Then you'd know that the Turbo navigator is a scanning, tracking and locating device specifically designed for just such occasions."
"And anyway," Jareth continued, though no one was listening anymore. ""It's not as though I GET a Turbo Zord, even if I were willing to use it. There are only the five, you know."
