The room wasn’t huge, but it still managed to fit three 4 foot wide bookshelves that were all along the far wall, floor to ceiling. On them were group photos of every Power Ranger Team in history. Along with the photos were miscellaneous Martial Art Awards and plaques and trophies. His various colored belts displayed in a glass case and even his diplomas. On the small black desk sat a silver laptop, a phone, a lamp and a wooden box.

Kimberly’s eyes drifted back to the photos. She glanced at the one of the original team, then at the two with Tommy in them. The first one as the Green Ranger and the second one as the White Ranger. She noticed something in the photo she hadn’t thought of before.

In the first photo, the green ranger merely stood beside the pink one, both in fighting stances. Granted they were beside each other, but not really connected. In the second photo however, the white ranger stood right behind the pink one, one arm over her shoulder, as if protecting her.

“Reflecting?” She snapped her head up, hearing Tommy’s comment. “Yeah.” She responded, somewhat quietly.“You? What would I want with you? In case you haven’t noticed, you’re chair bound. Not much good without your legs. Didn’t you see how lover boy reacted? He wanted nothing to do with you. Who would?”

“Tommy’s not like that! He’s not evil anymore and he wouldn’t agree with you, no matter what I looked like!” argued Kimberly. Tears had begun flowing down her face again.

“Oh wouldn’t I, beautiful?” whispered another voice in Kimberly’s ear.

“Tommy, no. You don’t really think that about me,” replied Kimberly.

“I don’t want to date a cripple. You’re useless now.”   The two trudged through the sand to where Jareth stood. he was holding out the golden compass in his golden hand, and it still pointed the way it had....but Jareth had moved a few yards to the right, and it no longer pointed at the igloo at all.

"The igloo was never our destination," he said. "It just happenned to be in our way."

Deacon gazed along the enchanted arrows path, and saw nothing but sand and the horizon.

         "Dammit," he said.

         No one disagreed.

Tommy and the rest of his team teleported back onto the bridge of the Oasis. A few demorphed so as to better relax in the plush, reclining chairs provided, others, like Tommy, smply removed their helmets and glanced up at the screen.
