“They both probably hate me now.” Tommy closed his email browser and finished getting ready for school.

It was September 3rd. The start of a new school year at Reefside High. His favorite students, and former teammates would be seniors this time around, which meant he wouldn’t have them in class anymore. Seniors aren’t required to take Science, only needing to take Economics, U.S. History and English to fulfill all the 12th-grade requirements.Lacie shook her head. She’d known that this accident could have a major effect on Kimberly’s mood and thoughts, but she hadn’t suspected it would be this bad. It was even worse than when Sarah was depressed. “Okay, Kimberly. We won’t contact them, but you’ve got to tell him soon.”        Tommy leapt up into the air and locked his two-handed sword atop the assembly, then came to the ground with the weapon in his hands. It resembled a high-tech crossbow with several gun barrels.

         "Nice," Mara said appraisingly.

The Psycho Rangers had regrouped, their armor still smoking from their respective engagements. This wasn't the brightest move, as they were all now in one place, making them a very conveniant target.

The other four Rangers grouped behind Tommy as he pulled the trigger of the Power Blaster, firing an intensely powerful blast of energy at the Psycho Rangers. The Psychos fell to the ground once again, their helmets melting and their armor plates fusing together.

The weapon disassembled, it's component weapons returning to the hands of their respective Rangers.

“I will.” Kimberly realized how easy it was to lie. She knew these two would believe her. They couldn’t read her as well as Trini and she was using this to her advantage.

Sarah and Lacie stayed for a couple of hours before heading back to the gym to finish the daily practice. Before leaving, they gave her a card that the entire group had signed for Kimberly. Kimberly gave each of the girls a hug before they left.

“Remember Kimberly, we won’t tell your friends anything as long as you tell them soon,” warned Sarah.

He hoped he would at least see some of them the Karate Club he had started at the school. It was an extracurricular activity that counted as a P.E. elective for upperclassmen. Tommy didn’t know how he had managed to swing that with the School Board, but he had a feeling the now ‘free from evil’ Superintendent, Dr. Anton Mercer, had pulled a few strings for him.
