He was padding around the space, in a black tank top and jeans, searching for his shoes. Tommy wasn’t a messy person, but he was disorganized. And forgetful. It was a habit he just couldn’t seem to shake. He had been better about his Swiss-cheese memory since he had started teaching, but little things, always escaped him. Like where he had thrown his shoes.
“Gotcha!” He exclaimed, pulling out a boot from underneath the couch. He must have tossed them aside the other night when he fell asleep in the living room. It hadn’t been a particularly exciting night, Tommy was just exhausted, and instead of making the trek up to his room, he had collapsed on his couch, hiding his shoes in the process.“Because you nitwit, if we let her think she was the cause of her accident, she won’t even begin to suspect that it was us. We don’t need any Rangers on our case. They will ruin everything!”
“Ahh yes. It makes perfect sense,” nodded Finster.
“Finster, I want that potion by this afternoon! No excuses!”
Finster bowed. “Yes my queen! I’m on it right away!” He walked quickly down the hallway to his laboratory and locked himself inside. Rita smiled to herself. Things were falling into place.
In his laboratory/bedroom, Finster quickly began grabbing multiple bottles off his makeshift shelves. He hummed to himself as he double-checked the contents, making sure he had all the right ingredients. “Now where did I put that Umbrim formula….” He searched the shelves until he found a small black bottle labeled Umbrim. “Ahh I remember it being there now…” He grabbed all the bottles and placed them on a table against the right wall, next to a small black mixing pot. After doing so, he began looking among his books to find the precise recipe. A sleeping potion had to be concocted precisely, otherwise it would never work. The Gray Ranger was wearing solid gray body armor from the waist up, but the lower half of his body was covered by a pair of loose, stitched leather pants, also gray. He also seemed to be wearing some sort of cloak or shawl....or something, that covered only his right half, made of fur and decorated with shards of bone and fangs. His helmet was sculpted to resemble a wolf.
The Purple Ranger was decked out in what seemed to be a sorceress's cloak. Her body beneath the cloak was protected by what appeared to be a purple wetsuit, and her arms and legs had bladelike fins extending from them. A simlar fin grew from the top of her helmet, which resembled the head of a hammerhead shark. There were eyes on either side of her forehead, and gill slits where her ears should have been.
The remaining Ranger was wearing emerald green armor, but only on her torso could it be seen. The rest of her was covered as it had been, with camoflauge army fatigues. She was wearing a camo jacket, pants, and a pair of black combat boots....but Tommy caught a flash of red just inside her Jacket, and realized that she was equipped with a Blade Blaster, just like the ones the Rangers used to use back when he was the Green Ranger. Her helmet was carved to resemble a crocodile. |
