Conner was in the same boat. He liked shin guards, not tights. He was an athlete, not an actor. But it made Kira happy, so he went along with it. Tommy just laughed and shook his head.

“So, how do you know Dr. O?” Kira asked Kim. Tommy looked up, and before Kimberly could answer he said, “Take a good look at her, Kira. Does she look familiar?”

Conner and Kira exchanged glances. “Not particularly.” Kira said. Conner narrowed his eyes, inspecting Kimberly harder. She did look familiar to him, but he couldn’t place it.“I’m not going to try to force you Kimberly. You’ve just confused me so much that I’m trying to put together reasons why. So far, these reasons don’t add up. Why haven’t you told Tommy? I’m sure he’s worried he hasn’t heard from you in days.”

“He is worried,” answered Kimberly. “My roommates told me he left messages for me. I told them not to contact him.”The front end of the Astro Megaship split open, revealing a small blue-and white space shuttle. The shuttle launched from the ship, which began to split apart, the pontoons folding out to become arms and the docking bays assuming the position of the legs. Finally, the shuttle came full circle, reattaching to the ship and forming the head.

         "Astro Megazord online," Jareth said. "And one of you can take it from here. I have no idea how to drive a Megazord." "I've never driven one either," Myk said.

         "I got it," Deacon said, stepping up to the controls. "This is about the same design as Silver Battlezord."

         The Astro Megazord assumed a fighting position, a giant sword materializing digitally in its hand.

         Psycho Megazord aimed its polar bear arm at the Astro megazord, preparing to unleash another blast of frigid energy, but the blast went wide as Predazord tackled it from behind, pinning its arms.

         "Now's your change, guys," Angel's voice crackled over the comlink.

If Trini had been shocked before, then she was ready to drop dead upon hearing this. How could Kimberly keep Tommy out of the loop? Tommy would want to know. She knew he had to be worried sick. As far as she knew the two had always talked nightly unless there was a reason. “Kimberly, how could you do this to him?” Trini asked softly, her eyes staring intently at her friend. “He loves you more than anything.”

“Not like this he wouldn’t. I’d be taking away his independence. He has other things to do besides worry about a cripple like me.”

“Kim, I can’t believe you’re saying this… you know Tommy doesn’t think that way. And if by other things you mean his Ranger stuff, that won’t last forever. Eventually, Tommy will also pass on his power to another. Kim you need to call Tommy and tell him everything,” Trini stated calmly.

“Is she your sister?” Conner asked, scratching his head. Tommy and Kim exchanged amused looks.

“Well, I am like a brother to her, Conner. But no, Kim and I aren’t related. Let’s just say we knew each other back in the day.” Tommy said. Kimberly winced at his reference to the break up letter when she said he had been like a brother to her. She gave her students a small smile.

“Tommy and I grew up together.” She told the teens. Kira smiled. “And now you teach together? That is so cool!”
