Since Science was the only subject Tommy taught, he was relegated to the third floor, where all the labs were located. There were five labs along the west wing, with adjoining doors and four science teachers. One teacher per lab. The last lab was usually reserved for Health class, taught by Mr. Worthing, an ex marine who seemed hell bent on scaring all of his students into abstinence. Along the East wing of the third floor, were all the math classes. Tommy tried to avoid those, as math had never been his favorite subject and all those classes seemed to be taught by the most officious older women he had ever met. They were always pinching his cheeks and telling him how handsome he was and what a shame that such an attractive, young man was still single, and if they were 20 years younger they’d snatch him up. He supposed they meant well, but it was just creepy having a fan club of grandmothers checking out your ass every time you walked by. Third period has just ended and Tommy was quickly packing up his materials in anticipation for his ‘lunch date’ with Kimberly.Later that evening, Kimberly went next door for Jayden’s birthday party. She was surprised to find so many people there. Dr. Matthews hadn’t been kidding. Kimberly saw that not all the guests were patients. Around Jayden was a group of young boys and girls that had come to visit him. They must have been the friends he was talking about. The children were laughing as Jayden opened the presents they’d brought him. Twin streams of White and Green light flew from the belts of the White and Green rangers into the hilts of the Crystal Sabers. Lolli and Stephen demorphed and feel to the ground, out cold.
Psycho Green stepped up to Lolli and prepared to finish her off.
"Don't bother," Psycho White said. "We can't kill them yet. it conflicts with our orders."
"We just have to let them go?"
"For now. Until the other Psychos finish their jobs."
"Zedd is an idiot."
"Yes, it has been observed."
Several streaks of light filled the air, and the other five Psycho Rangers materialized around them.
Kimberly smiled as she watched the scene. Jayden looked up and grinned when he saw her. “Kimberly! You came to my party! Hey guys, this is my new friend Kimberly I met today. She’s really nice.” Jayden rolled closer to her and his friends followed. Kimberly looked at all the smiling faces. There were three boys and one little girl. Jayden introduced them by pointing to each one. “That’s Jimmy, Eddy, Travis, and Rachel.”
“Nice to meet you all,” answered Kimberly.
“Wow, you’re pretty. Do you wear make-up?” asked Rachel. “Daddy says that stuff is for big girls only and I can’t have any until I’m fifteen.”
“Well, yeah sometimes,” replied Kimberly.
