“So, they do know each other?” Ms. Feldman broke Ms. Randall out of her thoughts. Elise smiled and nodded. “Yes, they do. Now, I trust you ladies you have better ways of spending the rest of your break period than spying on co-workers.” She said as she turned and left.
“I knew it!” Ms. Feldman said, turning to Mrs. Franklin. “I bet she’s an ex girlfriend.” Hannah said, staring at the parking lot, which by this point showed no signs of Tommy or Kimberly. Mrs. Franklin just smiled and pulled Hannah from the window. “Well they didn’t look like it to me. Come on dear, let’s go before Principal Randall comes back.” Mrs. Franklin ushered Ms. Feldman away.Kimberly looked up toward where she thought the voice was coming from. She felt her body left from the ground as she floated toward it. It was as thought she was going for the light. The higher she got, the cloudier her dream became; soon there was nothing but a sudden flash of light and Kimberly closed her eyes.
End Kimberly’s DreamAngel considered, nodded, and replied. "We're screwed."
Through the ice covered viewport, the three trapped rangers could only watch as the Psycho Megazord stepped back and unfurled its wings. Spreading it's feathers, the zord revealed a large pair of what appeared to be eyes. The eyes began glowing, obviously charging to release a powerful attack.
Within the cockpit, Fox and Angel screwed their eyes shut, awaiting the final blow. Kalen, on the other hand, merely narrowed her eyes, her hand poised above the teleport button.
The eyes of the Psychozord released their charge.....but the attack missed as the Dark Megazord was knocked back off its feet by a blast from behind the Predazord.
As Kimberly worked to wake herself, she continued to hear the voice the entire time. She opened her eyes, which she promptly covered again because of the bright light. She realized she’d been crying again, and began to remember her dream. Fortunately, she didn’t have much time to focus; she felt a hand on her arm and jumped. She quickly turned her head to see who it was, thinking it was her mother or Dr. Matthews, but it wasn’t. “Trini! When did you get here?”
Tommy and Kimberly certainly weren’t behaving like an ex couple. In fact, there were acting so stupidly in love, it was sickening. Tommy had taken them to a tiny delicatessen a few miles from the school.
Feeding each other chips and trading bites of their sandwiches, the other customers in the restaurant were fixated on the giggling couple. They had a wonderful talk, a few awkward moments when Kimberly’s erratic behavior two months ago had been brought up, but laughter soon trumped embarrassment when they recalled the moment.
