“ Well, the job of the senior teacher is to assist the new faculty in any way they can. But that’s usually reserved for the completely incompetent. Since I’m quite certain that doesn’t include you, Miss Hart, Why don’t I just help you find your first classroom for the day. Don’t forget we’re an hour behind. You’ll want to refer to your second period.” He said, putting on his best professional voice.
“That should be easy, I’m in here.” Kimberly said, indicating the auditorium. “See? Drama, second period.” He looked down at the piece of paper she held out.
“Okay. Well then, you’re all set. Catch ya later.” He said, turning on his heels and heading for the exit. So much for having a job to do.When Kimberly entered her room, she found Dr. Matthews conversing with her mother in hushed tones. They quickly stopped though when Kimberly wheeled in. “Umm… am I interrupting something?” she asked cautiously.
“No Kimberly,” answered Dr. Matthews. “We were just discussing living arrangements for the future.” "This isn't Star Trek, guys," Jareth replied, strolling up to the massive blue ship. "Sometimes the disc is all you need."
As the Rangers approached, the silver front of one of the pontoons rose, revealing itself to be an entrance.
At the command deck of the Megaship, Jareth moves directly to the helm and grasped the control levers.
"Hang on tight, amigos," he said.
"Why do I get the feeling you've done this before?" Myk asked.
“Kimberly, I think you should know that I’d like you to come back to Paris with your step-father and I,” added her mother. “I don’t want you living alone in your condition.”
Kimberly didn’t know what brought it on, but she suddenly became very angry. “I can take care of myself! Maybe not as well right now, but I will learn! I am not going to be treated like a baby just because of this!” she yelled.
“Kimberly Ann, don’t you take that tone of voice with me!” warned her mother.
“Tommy, wait!” She cringed, thankfully no one else was in the room to hear her faux pas. “I mean, Dr. Oliver.” She began again.
He stopped and turned around to face her. He knew was being a coward, but he just didn’t want to deal with her. This was his turf. Why did she have to come here to teach? Why was he being such an asshole? He thought to himself. He smiled sheepishly and made his way back down to her.
